How is traveling rail beneficial to our production's needs?

Traveling via rail is 20%-30% cheaper compared to shipping by truck. However, your production would have to have allow longer transit time to utilize the intermodal/rail system. Typically, the intermodal/rail system is 3-5 days longer than traveling over the road.


Can we do it cheaper?

TBI strives to find the best and most cost effective way to move your production's needs. We at TBI recognize that there are three major variables in the this business: PRICE, SPEED, and QUALITY.  If you change one, the other two are effected and we pride ourselves in maintaining the best in all of them.


How do we pay and when do we pay?

TBI works off of your productions PO #, allowing TBI to invoice upon completion of the move(s). This is where your production would have the choice to pay either check or credit card. Please note: If your production chooses to pay via credit card there is a fee.


What are your hours and will I still be able to get in contact with you after hours if I have questions?

TBI's business hours are from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST. However, if you or your production ever needed anything after hours, there is ALWAYS someone on call and answering emails.


Are there any sales taxes, tolls, or permit charges in addition to your door-to-door rate?

All our rates are inclusive and do not have any hidden charges. Our rates are broken down and shown if there are any tolls, permits, etc. You will always know exactly what you are paying for.

Do you handle international moves?

Yes, TBI can handle both domestic and international moves. Our staff is equipped with the knowledge and tools to get you the best and most cost effective way to move your production's needs both domestically and internationally.


What is the difference between an open and an enclosed car carrier?

On an open carrier, your vehicle is exposed to inclement weather and road conditions. While on an enclosed carrier, your vehicle is not subjected to inclement weather or road conditions. You can request your vehicle to be transported via on a open or enclosed car carrier. Please note: The prices will change on which option you choose.
